From the inaugural event in Southern California's Big Bear Lake, to two snow-covered years in Crested Butte, Colo., to last year's 83,000-plus capacity crowds East Coast debut, the Winter X Games have arrived. Snow Angels On Monday, February 5 from 9 p.m.-11 p.m. (EST), ESPN dedicates its Winter X Games coverage to the talented women of the event. The Moto X Big Air finals air Sunday, February 4 from 9p.m.-11 p.m. (EST) on ESPN. And The Nominees Are... During the Winter X Games telecast, the nominees for the inaugural ESPN Action Sports and Music Awards will be announced. The show will be telecast in primetime on ESPN April 10 and honors action-sports heroes and the lifestyle music that supports these sports. UltraFast, UltraCompetitive UltraCross, consisting of 16 two-person teams of the top 16 skier x competitors and the top 16 snowboarder x competitors, is a bracketed relay race on the skier x course to determine the real "king of the mountain." UltraCross airs Sunday, February 4 from 9 p.m.-11 p.m. (EST) Mount Snow, Vermont With its 130 trails, 3,600-foot elevation and 1,700-foot drop, Mount Snow proves to be a quality home for the 2001 Winter X Games. The mountain has five separate faces, each with its own personality.
