2001Winter X Games
Employee of the Day
By Glen Seelenbrandt Feb. 01, 2001
Mount Snow, VT - When your busy competing or working all day sometimes you completley forget about food. Thanks to the people here at Mount Snow, at least we don't have to think too hard to eat. Down in the Sundance Lodge there can be found a veritable smorgasbord of edibles. Again in appreciation of the unsung X Game employee we present you with the employee of the day Winter X day 2, Thursday Feb. 1st.
Paul, Paul Brown What is your official title here at the X Games? Well, I help out "Jeff the Chef" here with food service. He's a buddy of mine from town. So are you a local then? No, not really I just moved here from Pennsylvania where I worked at camps serving 600 kids. What do you do when the X Games are not in town? I do more of this and I travel a lot. I've lived in a bunch of countries including Italy, France, Spain, Malta, St. Croix, and St. Kitts. Wow, do you feel extreme? Yeah, extremely hot. It gets damn warm in here. What's your specialty here? Well tonight we have chicken cordon bleu, eggplant parmesan, and mashed potatoes. So is this your dream job? No man, I'd rather be boarding. Snowboarding? Yeah, I just started and I love it. Right on. Thanks Thank you. Here let me get you some fresh food too. Cool. ![]() | |||||||||||||||||
