Chicks Who Rip
Road rash. Bumps. Bruises. Or worse. Moto X freestyle can punish your body. Ask 24-year-old Joey Sisco, who took a major "dirt sample" in practice and was hauled off to the hospital by ambulance. The Women's Moto X Freestyle field suddenly was reduced to two participants in the blink of an eye.

Right arm in a sling, red lipstick on her lips and her spirit undaunted, Sisco watched heel-clickers, superman seat-grabs and bar hops from the sidelines as her fellow riders went big in the Moto X Freestyle demo on Friday.

Nothing could stop Joey Sisco from watching the Women's Moto X demo, not even a trip to the hospital the previous day.

This was almost too much fun for Heather Williams and Heidi Henry. The ladies were revved up, clearing the 70-foot gap with ease and style. And they didn't want the euphoria to end after 30 minutes in the spotlight. Williams saluted the crowd by riding to the top of a kicker and dancing; Henry took soccer star Brandi Chastain's jersey toss a bit further, giving away just about everything but her pants and boots.

"I love it. This is what I love to do," Henry, 24, of Visalia, Calif., said. Henry's favorite trick, which admittedly needs a little work, is the superman seat-grab. She's been riding dirt bikes for almost six years.

Williams shares the same level of enthusiasm. "I just enjoy riding so much and it's so hard to stop sometimes," Williams said. "But, yes, if I could have kept going, I would have kept going for hours."

With just one month of freestyle experience, Williams pulled off heel-clickers and bar-hops. "If I get back home and train and come back I'll definitely put on a lot better show and have a lot better tricks." Williams, 28, of Cartersville, Ga., probably doesn't need much more time to amp up her show. The same goes for Henry.

Heidi Henry's got a few tricks in her Moto X Freestyle bag.

Sisco got quite a scare in practice on Thursday. The Mission Viejo, Calif., resident barely cleared a jump on her 125 cc bike but paid a dear price in doing so.

"From what I hear I made it," Sisco said. "My front tire cleared it, but until I actually watch the video I'm not quite sure. … I was (unconscious) for a while from what I hear. I got a couple lumps on my head and I got some road rash pretty good down my right side. I've just got aches and pains pretty much everywhere."

Despite missing the demo and a chance to show her stuff, Sisco remained upbeat.

"And the beautiful thing is I didn't even break a nail."
