Preliminary Round: Each competitor will take one 1-minute run. Each competitor will be judged, and given a run score at the end of the run.

Competitors are placed on a leaderboard, ranked first to last, based on their run score. The top10 leaderboard positions at the end of the Preliminary Round move on to the Final Round.

Final Round: The top 10 competitors from the Preliminary Round go to the Final Round. Competitors will run in reverse order of the leaderboard from 10-1. Each competitor will receive two 45-sec. runs.
Each competitor will be judged, and given a run score at the end of each run. The lower of the two run scores will be dropped yielding the Final Round score. Competitors are placed on a leaderboard, ranked 1-10, based on their Final Round score.

Computation of Scores:

Preliminary Round:
Total run score - Each of the 4 judges scores a competitor on a whole number from a point scale determined by the number of riders in the class. The range of the scale is determined as follows: there will be one point added to the range for every competitor, rounded to the highest multiple of five, plus ten points. Example: if 20 riders enter the competition the point scale is 70-100. The individual judge's scores are added together and divided by 4, to yield an average score to two decimal places (e.g., 89.55).

Final Round:
-first run score: Computed exactly like the Preliminary Round.
-second run score: Computed exactly like the Preliminary Round.
-final run score: Each Competitors 1st and 2nd run scores are compared and the lower of the two is dropped to yield the final run score.

Resolving Ties:
Preliminary Round:
-Ties will not be resolved until all runs have been completed by all competitors.
-1st Tie Breaker: The lowest score from each of the rider's runs (one score per run) is dropped
-2nd Tie Breaker: The lowest score is reinstated, then the highest score from each of the rider's runs (one per run) is dropped.
-3rd Tie Breaker: The two lowest scores are dropped, then the remaining scores are added together and divided by two.

Special Exception: Preliminary Round: In the event that there is a tie for 10th place, a run-off will occur. Each competitor will take one run and will receive a run-score. The competitor with the higher run-score will advance to the final round.

Final Round:
-Ties will not be resolved until all runs have been completed by all competitors.
-1st Tie Breaker: The lowest score from each of the rider's runs (one score per run) is dropped
-2nd Tie Breaker: The lowest score is reinstated, then the highest score from each of the rider's runs (one per run) is dropped.
-3rd Tie Breaker: The highest score is reinstated and the two lowest scores are dropped, then the remaining scores are added together and divided by two.
-In all cases, if the tie still cannot be broken after the above procedures have been implemented, the decision of the Head Judge will break the tie.

Results:
Preliminary Round: A leaderboard that ranks the competitors first to last based on each competitor's run score.

Final Round: A leaderboard that ranks the competitors 1-10 based on each competitor's final run score.
