Rules and Regulations - Aggressive In-Line Park Best Trick
Competitors: 20 Judges: 3 judges Competition Format: (Best Trick runs a session-style format) Semi Finals: Skaters are grouped into heats of six (6). Each heat gets eight (8) minutes on the course to skate session-style. When a skater is ready to attempt his best trick, he raises his hand and waits to be acknowledged by the head judge and MC. When the judges are watching, he attempts the trick. Skaters can make as many attempts as they wish within the eight-minute time frame. The head judge is responsible for making sure that skaters who have taken fewer attempts, get the priority for taking the next attempt. Some skaters will only choose to take a couple of tries at a trick, while others will take as many attempts as possible. The top 10 skaters proceed to the finals. Finals: Skaters are grouped into 2 heats of five (5). Each heat gets ten (10) minutes on the course to skate session-style. When a skater is ready to attempt his best trick, he raises his hand and waits to be acknowledged by the head judge and MC. When the judges are watching, he attempts the trick. Skaters can make as many attempts as they wish within the ten minute time frame. The head judge is responsible for making sure that skaters who have taken fewer attempts, get the priority for taking the next attempt. Some skaters will only choose to take a couple of tries at a trick, while others will take as many attempts as possible. Judging and Scoring Judges The top ten skaters earn points toward the head-to-head finals:
