Competition Format:
Semifinal Round:: (Only if there are 10 or more competitors)
Two runs per competitor. Competitors will be divided into two groups of 10 by random draw with influence. Group one will complete one run and will be ranked on the leaderboard according to their running average score. Group one will then complete their second run and then be ranked on the leaderboard 1-10 according to their running average score. There will be a 15 minute warm-up for group 2. Group two will complete one run and will be ranked on the leaderboard according to their running average score. Group two will then complete their second run and then be ranked (with group one) on the leaderboard 1-20 according to their running average score. The top 10 leaderboard positions at the end of the Semi Finals Round advance to the Final Round.

Final Round:
Two runs per competitor. Competitors will run in reverse order of the Semi Finals round leaderboard from 10-1. Each competitor completes one run and receives a first run score. The first run score is assigned to that competitor's running average score. Then each competitor completes a second run and receives a second run score. The first run score and the second run score are added together and divided by 2 to yield that competitor's final average score. Competitors are place on the leaderboard, ranked 1-10, based on their final average score.

Note: If the rider experiences a technical difficulty within the first 20 seconds of their run, that rider will be given a two minute time period to repair the difficulty. When the two minutes is over the clock will be started at the same time which it was stopped prior to the time-out period.

Competition Flow:
Semifinal Round:
The 20 person field is divided into 2 groups of 10 competitors. For a given group, each group member completes one run and receives a first run score. The first run score is assigned to that competitor's running average score. Then each group member completes a second run, and receives a second run score.

The first run score and the second run score are added together and divided by two which establishes a competitor's running average score. There will be a 15-minute warm-up session between the first and second groups. Competitors in the second group complete one run and receive a first run score. The first run score is assigned to that competitor's running average score. Then each competitor will complete a second run and receive a second run score. The average of the first run score and the second run score is assigned to that competitor's running average score. Competitors are placed on the leaderboard with group one, ranked 1-20, based on their running average score. Top 10 leaderboard positions at the end of the Semi Finals Round move on to the Final Round.

Final Round:
The top 10 competitors from the Semi Finals Round go to the Final Round. Competitors will run in reverse order of the Semi Finals round leaderboard 10-1. Each competitor completes one run and receives a first run score. The first run score is assigned to that competitor's running average score. Then each competitor completes a second run, and receives a second run score. The first run score and the second run score are added together and divided by 2 and assigned to that competitor's final average score. Competitors are placed on a leaderboard, ranked 1-10, based on their final average score.

Computation of Scores:
Semi Finals Round:
First Run Score: Each of the 3 judges scores a competitor on a whole number from a point scale determined by the number of riders in the class. Judging is based on overall impression of each run. The range of the scale is determined as follows: there will be one point added to the range for every competitor, rounded to the highest multiple of five, plus ten points.

Example - if 20 riders enter the competition the point scale is 70- 100. The individual judge's scores are totaled and divided by 5, to yield an average score to two decimal places (e.g., 89.55).

Second Run Score: Computed exactly like the first run score.

Running Average Score: The summation of all run scores divided by the number of runs scored. This yields an average score to two decimal places (e.g., 89.55).

Final Round:
First Run Score: Computed exactly like the Semi Finals Round first run score.
Second Run Score: Computed exactly like the Semi Finals Round first run score.

Final Average Score: The summation of all run scores divided by the number of runs scored. This yields an average score to two decimal places (e.g., 89.55).

Resolving Ties:
Semi Finals Round:
Ties will not be resolved until all runs have been completed by all competitors.

1st Tie Breaker: The lowest score from each of the rider's runs (one score per run) is dropped
2nd Tie Breaker: The lowest score is reinstated, then the highest score from each of the rider's runs (one per run) is dropped.
3rd Tie Breaker: The two lowest scores are dropped, then the remaining scores are added together and divided by three.

Special Exception:
Semi Finals Round: In the event that there is a tie for 10th place, a run-off will occur. Each competitor will take one run and will receive a run-score. The competitor with the higher run-score will advance to the final round.

Final Round:
Ties will not be resolved until all runs have been completed by all competitors.

1st Tie Breaker: The lowest score from each of the rider's runs (one score per run) is dropped.
2nd Tie Breaker: The lowest score is reinstated, then the highest score from each of the rider's runs (one per run) is dropped.
3rd Tie Breaker: The highest score is reinstated and the two lowest scores are dropped, then the remaining scores are added together and divided by three.

In all cases, if the tie still cannot be broken after the above procedures have been implemented, the decision of the Head Judge will break the tie.

Results:
Semi Finals Round:: A leaderboard that ranks the competitors 1-20 based on each competitor's run score.

Final Round: A leaderboard that ranks the competitors 1-10 based on each competitor's final run score.
