Rebecca Romijn-Stamos, LL Cool J and Chris Klein to hand out awards at ESPN Action Sports and Music Awards

Actress Rebecca Romijn-Stamos, rapper/actor LL Cool J and actor Chris Klein will host The ESPN Action Sports and Music Awards fueled by Mountain Dew, a first-time event to be held Saturday, April 7 at the Universal Amphitheatre in Los Angeles. The event will be televised on ESPN Tuesday, April 10 from 9-11 p.m. ET and immediately following on ESPN2, Tuesday, April 10 from 11 p.m.-1 a.m. (8-10 p.m. PT). All three co-hosts are starring in MGM Pictures' upcoming movie, ROLLERBALL, which will hit theatres this summer.

Klein, a movie actor who will star in the upcoming film, Say It Isn't So, has also starred in Election, American Pie and Here on Earth. LL Cool J, an influential rap star, has also appeared in numerous television and film projects, including Charlie's Angels, Any Given Sunday and Oz on HBO. His most recent album, G.O.A.T., was released in September. Romijn-Stamos has appeared in a variety of television roles, including Just Shoot Me on NBC and films such as X-Men.

"These three stars from varying backgrounds will appeal to a broad range of fans and will provide the perfect energy level for this first-time action sports and music celebration," said Ron Semiao, ESPN vice president, programming and managing director, Global X Games. "We are thrilled to have them on board and look forward to an exciting and unpredictable event."

The ESPN Action Sports and Music Awards fueled by Mountain Dew will celebrate the achievements of action sports pro athletes and the strong connection between action sports, music and cultural interests. The annual gala will bring together entertainment celebrities, musical performers, action sports athletes and more. ESPN will collaborate with the Los Angeles-based House of Blues to present high-quality musical performances, including Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals, during the show as well as providing marketing and promotional support for the event. Tickets for the event can be purchased through Ticketmaster.
