The 20th Annual U.S. Open Snowboarding Championships, the most anticipated snowboarding event of the year, will be held at Stratton Mountain, Vermont, from March 14-17, 2002.

Over 500 male and female riders representing 15 countries will battle it out in an all jam competition format for top spots in the Quarterpipe, Halfpipe, Junior Jam Halfpipe, and Slopestyle competitions, and a piece of the event's sizeable cash purse. Stratton's Sunbowl Area will once again support the entire event, with the riders, spectators, and sponsors all merging to create one of the most exciting and centralized snowboarding experiences in the world.

Monday, March 11: Rider Registration / Halfpipe Practice
Tuesday, March 12: Halfpipe Pre-Qualifiers
Wednesday, March 13: Halfpipe Pre-Qualifiers / Slopestyle Practice
Thursday, March 14: Slopestyle Qualifiers / Quarterpipe Practice
Friday, March 15: Halfpipe Qualifiers & Quarterfinals / Quarterpipe Finals (under the lights)
Saturday, March 16: Halfpipe Semis & Finals / Slopestyle Practice
