You've probably spent all summer thinking about that first turn or air of the season. So why not take a little of that energy and put it into your set-up. Whether you have a new board or the same one from last season, we've got the info to help you ride better and have more fun.

Tuning and tweaking your equipment can make all the difference in how well the gear works and, in effect, how well you can ride. Tuning your edges is the equivalent of putting better suspension and tires on a car. It will handle better, be more responsive and consistent. A properly tuned and waxed base is like putting a supercharger on an already good motor. Basically whatever you own or buy is going to be good, but you can make it better.

I can tell you from personal experience that the boards that you see Keir Dillon, Roger Hjelmstadstuen and Terje riding in the videos and contests have had hours of tuning effort put into them. It's not just about contests though. When you and your buddies are traversing a cat-track heading for the powder stash and you speed away from the pack and drop in first, it will all be worthwhile.

And remember, through all of this, Always wear safety glasses and be smart. It's all fun and games until someone gets flaming P-tex in their eye.

Read and enjoy. If you have questions email me.
