New for this season, MLY's Bi-Polar was quick to find its way into the coveted top two-five. Makes sense, as the design team was going for what Product Manager Paolo Dabbeni [The soft-booted Italian resurfaces!] calls a "happy medium" between freeride and freestyle.
While it is a board for all seasons, testers found the BP rocked hardest on the freestyle/resort side of freeride-staking claim to the park and pipe.
A stout, performance-oriented flex and a damn-deep sidecut make the Bi-Polar hum; it bangs out short turns like no other.
With the stiffness comes a big payback in stability (and in landing jumps), but most testers?from Robyn to Kevin found it too stiff to be truly versatile.
