Snowboard Life Top 25: Lib Tech Joey Maguire

A freestyle rider, Joey designed this board to work well in any condition, on any terrain. "He was looking for a mellow nose for powder, a directional shape, and a lower-profile tail," says Mervin Manufacturing Vice President Pete Saari.

An ideal design for lighter riders, Robyn noted, "It has good turn initiation and an easy transition from edge to edge."

Although this board was soft for his aggressive style, Kevin described The Joey Maguire, as "So loose and light! A blast for a day of playful freestyle bliss."

Jonathan claimed that, while not a good board for boardercross or GS, "The Maguire ran smooth, and was super light and maneuverable."
