Burton Snowboards and NBC Create Some Hot Snow

Burton Snowboards has teamed up with NBC's HotSnow.com, an interactive flash web site dedicated to alternative Olympic sports, to bring you the latest news, and Burton rider updates as they vie for Olympic spots.

Burton riders featured are Shannon Dunn, Ross Powers, Shaun White, and Keir Dillon. All the riders are competing to make the U.S. Olympic team, and in fact, Shannon Dunn is the first women's rider to qualify for the U.S. Women's Halfpipe team. Also featured are Canadians Mike Michalchuck and Trevor Andrew, who have both made the Canadian Olympic Halfpipe team.

Burton riders will update their "On the road" section weekly to keep everyone up to speed on their thoughts, training, and life in general moving towards the Olympics and the rest of the season. The site also has still photos, video clips, and rider's gear info.
