Somehow, major cities around the globe survived the 2002 Burton World Tour, when dozens of the world's best snowboarders invaded snowboard shops, radio and TV stations, theatres and bars to debut the Burton Promo Video and hang out with local kids. This year, we're doing it all again, sending our best riders out on the streets to show the new 2004 Burton Promo Video and get riders stoked for the upcoming snowboarding season.

The team worked super hard this year to get more footage and technical tricks than ever before for Burton's new Promo Video, The Process. Featuring action shots of Burton's Global Team riders, The Process also includes a segment devoted to women riders, as well as footage of the Youth and Rookie teams. Dedication sections in remembrance of late professional snowboarders Craig Kelly and Jeff Anderson are featured throughout the film.

In North America, the Burton World Tour will debut The Process in nine cities, giving kids the chance to hang out with professional snowboarders and see the new video for the first time. "For the kids and the riders, it doesn't get better than this," says Burton Global Team rider Keir Dillon. "You can just hang out with us, talk, watch the video or do whatever you're into."

The riders are really looking forward to the tour again this year. "It's great to see all the snowboarders come together and get all amped for the upcoming winter," says Burton Global Team rider Dave Downing. "You can almost smell the snow in the air, even though it's about a month away from the first snowfall."
