(B4BC) Snowboard + Music Festival is the place to be on Sunday, April 14,
2002 as professional snowboarders will descend on Sierra-At-Tahoe Resort in
Lake Tahoe, California to lend their support for the annual educational and
fundraising event for breast cancer.

This year, the B4BC Snowboard + Music festival will once again feature
exhibitions by professional snowboarders and skiers in both the halfpipe and
snowboard park. These athletes will be stomping inverted 9's in the pipe or
frontside lipslides to fakie on one of the parks handrails, in full view of
the crowd. Spectators will be able to watch their favorite pros ride in one
of several exhibitions scheduled throughout the day, then get their
autographs at one of the many booths located in the festival area.
Boarding for Breast Cancer is a non-profit, youth-focused organization
devoted to education, awareness and fundraising for breast cancer. B4BC's
mission is to raise breast cancer awareness and educate today's youth about
the importance of early cancer detection through good breast health
practices, and to raise funds for educational and awareness programs. B4BC
does this through sports, music, art and events including: The Annual B4BC
Snowboard + Music Festival, B4BC's Board-A-Thon Program, The B4BC Outreach
Program, The B4BC Membership Drive and B4BC fund contributions. Since its
inception in 1994, B4BC has raised over $1 million through its events and
educational programs.
B4BC's Annual Snowboard + Music Festival combines live music from
internationally acclaimed bands such as previous performers, The Beastie
Boys (Quasar), Foo Fighters, Linkin Park and Blink 182, along with pro
snowboard exhibitions by the world's top snowboarders. The festival
atmosphere of educational tents and displays provides an interactive montage
of breast cancer awareness programs, creating a fun-filled and informative
event.
