Back again with the info to get you through your week.
DC Shoes has fully released the new
Rob Dyrdek shoe, following a TV campaign and a pullout poster that you all have if you bought a skate mag in the last month. 20 stairs, screaming teenage girls and a new pair of shoes for Mr. Dyrdek, bling bling.
The really big news from DC though is the introduction of their new laceless shoe,
The Solution. The shoe uses a big velcro strap to keep it locked to your foot. It is a combo model from
Danny Way and
Colin McKay and is the first of its breed in the skate world. Laces just get in the way anyway, right?
After the
Jim Greco interview in the last issue of
Rolling Stone it seems the heads over there want to ride a bit more of the skateboarding wave. Rumor has it that
Ryan Sheckler is currently begin interviewed for a possible article. Not bad...for an 11 year old.
While we are on the
World Industries tip, they are coming out with 4 new board designs as well as their own line of trucks. Now every part of your setup can be World sponsored. Look for them in the coming months.
And as the months change, so do the seasons and that means it is time for
Element news.
Reese Forbes has set a date to get hitched. He will tie the knot in October on the island of Kauai in Hawaii. October in Hawaii? Good choice my man.
Donny Barley and AM
Tosh Townend are back from Europe. Tosh is recovering while Donny is finishing up plans for his skatecamp that will take place at
Skater Island in Rhode Island later this summer. We will have more on that one as it comes in.
Big Bad
Bam has finished
CKY3 and it will be ready for public viewing very soon. If you can't make it to Bam's party at the
X Games, you can check him out on the
Adio tour, coming to a town near you, maybe.
So about that party...the location has been officialy moved to the
Trocadero in Philly. Make a note of that, because if you roll to the
Electric Factory on that night you will probably stumble into a nice phat rave. Hope you got your glowsticks, bro.
Moving on...
Ed Templeton has recovered from a short hospital stay during the ill-fated
Toy Machine tour in time to judge the
"Design Ed's Shoe" contest for
Emerica Check out all the results at www.emericaskate.com and add a bit of humor to your day.

November Clothing. He has also made the move to West Hollywood and is currently kicking it with

The entire Zero team now has a place to call home, thanks to
Jamie Thomas. He has just completed a top secret facility somewhere in San Diego. First one to find it gets a cookie.
The DVD version of
Art Bars: Subtitles and Seagullsis out now. Not only do you get Art Bars, but also
"These Good Times are Killing Me", the summer 2k tour video, AND a short film from Jon West among all the usual DVD goodies. Does life get better than this?
The
Zero tour is ready to take off on the east side of the North American continent. Already on board are
Jamie Thomas, Adrian Lopez, Trainwreck, Ryan Bobier, Lindsey Robertson, Jon Allie and John Rattray. They will be looking to shred everything in the cities below so be sure to check it out.
