X Games Skatepark Fact Sheet

The ESPN X Games comes to life in Atlanta this fall with over 40,000 square feet of America’s best venue for skateboard, inline and BMX. Skate or ride Georgia’s top facility, designed and built by Woodward.

1-year Membership:
- $60.00 for the year. Sign up before Thanksgiving for $45.00, and be registered for a backstage pass to next year’s X Games in Philadelphia.
- Membership includes discount on sessions, 1 free rental of equipment and other benefits.

Key Information:
- 2-hour sessions, all-day from 10am to 11pm.
- Member fees from $7 to $9 per session, and $11 to $15 for non-members. - Special BMX sessions.
- Safety gear required.
- Discover Mills is located off exit 108 of I-85 at the intersection of Sugarloaf Parkway outside of Atlanta, GA in Gwinnett County.

X Games Skateparks will consist of:
- 40,000 square feet of space decorated with action sports and X Games memorabilia.
- Skatepark containing halfpipes of all sizes, a full street course, a training area including 1 foam pit and 1 resi-ramp for public skating, BMX riding or in-line skating.
- A retail center stocked with action sports equipment, clothing and products from the industry’s leading companies, plus X Games merchandise.
- A skaters and riders arcade and viewing area.

Opening Information:
- The park will officially open on 11/2/01.
- An athlete demo is scheduled for 11/10/01 with names such as Ryan Nyquist, Allan Cooke, Fabiola de Silva, Jason Ellis, Colin McKay and Kerry Getz scheduled to appear.
