This event is the second stop of a thirteen round series that will stretch coast to coast and pay out over $800,000 in total prize money. This weekend's purse of $55,000 and championship points will be split in half over both nights.
Just a few of the riders appearing this weekend include first round winner, Clifford Adoptante, Ronnie Faisst, Tommy Clowers, Trevor Vines, Ryan Leyba and many others. Brian Deegan was scheduled to ride but an ankle injury will keep him sidelined for this weekend.
"This is the biggest thing to happen to freestyle motocross since the X-Games", said Tommy Clowers. "They got a great series going for us, big purses, all the fast guys and that really pumps me up."
Adoptante took home $10,000 after winning the first round and he said his bags are packed for round two.
"Coming off the first round in North Carolina with a win, I'm feeling pretty stoked," Adoptante said. "I'm looking forward to running the rest of the series. I've got a little bit of practicing to do though. A couple of the riders are throwing out some huge tricks and I just need to start hitting it hard."
