The Rock in Australia

In Australia WWF is huge, and The Rock is bigger than life. So the highlight of the Supercross intermission was the appearance of "The Rock" monster truck. After destroying several cars on the course, the truck headed straight toward Travis and Reed, pedal to the floor. Both riders moved at just about the same time, and probably had a few skid-marks in their undies to show for the experience.

Travis and Reed.

After the car crushing, Travis and I then headed to the FOX Studios were he was going to be on the "V"channel TV show, which is huge in Australia. They brought Travlos out on the hood of "The Rock" monster truck to begin the show. The driver was about ninety and when he pinned it, almost sending Trav flying off the front. Luckily, Travlos was hanging on for his life.

Next it was on to the demo for the World Record "The Rock" and him were going to set by smashing the most cars ever. Yes people this is life-size, but do not try this at home. Travis, and the 90-year-old ROCK driver are trained professionals.

The interview wrapped up and Travis was now an even bigger Australian star. The girls started to flock from the local store when they heard the American accent. It was like the making of the band, but the making of a superstar in Australia.

The day ended with one more laid back interview. This was a big one for the sport of Motocross, because it was the Australian Times. This was the first time they had ever done a piece on Motocross, and Travis swept the reporter off her feet with his answers. I didn't hear the whole interview because I was too busy trying to get these hot girls to give us a ride home. Apparently Trav had all the right answers though and things wrapped up on a good note.
