In Australia they ride three (4 lap heats), a semi-final (5 laps), and then a final which is twenty laps. Travis caught Cameron Taylor in the heat so he was able to get a better gate pick in the Semi-Final. All that was left was a solid finish in the Semi, to set up a good pick for the Final.

Battling for position.

There was tons of motivation to podium, most being the GIRLS! The first night went to Chad Reed, Pastrana, and then Cameron Taylor. Chad rode great; Travis rode incredible to come from far back to second. The track was very tight with only twenty second lap times. The whole main was only about ten minutes, so by the time you warm up you're done. I think it is safe to say that Trav was happy to be on the podium, check out where he is looking.

Winning is good... for a couple of reasons.

The second night Reed took Pastrana off the track on the first lap. Travis somehow charged from last to pass Chad and pull away. After he started moving out he ran over his foot in the woops, pulling a muscle on his upper leg. What I can say that Trav won't, is that he pulled a muscle next to his JOHNSON when a rider crashed on him the first night. He tried to keep his lead with a hard charging Reed closing up, but it was obvious he was hurting. It soon led to a huge crash on the 70-foot triple. The night would end with a great ride from Aussie Reed with a 1-1, Travis with a 2-2, and Craig Anderson with a 4-3, crowning him the series Champion.

Travis tells it like it is.
