(Sept. 11, 2001) Malibu, CA -The best freestyle motocross dirt jumpers in the world blast into Nashville, Friday and Saturday, Oct. 5-6th, 8 PM, at the Nashville Auditorium for the ESPN FreeRide Moto-X Championships, presented by THQ.

The arena will be transformed into a motocross playground with over 2,000 cubic yards of dirt. With ESPN cameras looking on, one at a time, riders will tackle the course filled with 100-foot jumps and pull tricks from handstands on their bikes to Supermans to No Footed Nac-Nacs! Included in the night of no-holds-barred competition is the fabled Step Up, with riders hurtling themselves straight up 30 feet from the arena floor and over a bar - if they make it.

Riders in this WFA-sanctioned event include X Games medallists like "Mad" Mike Jones, bad boy Brian Deegan and the Metal Mulisha, WFA World Champion Dan Pastor, Tommy "Tom Cat" Clowers, Mike "The Godfather" Metzger and Clifford "The Flyin' Hawaiian" Adoptante, among many more, all putting life and limb on the line for precious X Games qualifying points.

General admission tickets are just $16 in advance. Friday night is Family Night - buy one adult ticket and one child under 12 is free. Saturday night all kids under 12 are half price.
