In Search of Entrepeneurial Goddes for "Athena" Award

Women in Action Sports Converge at Special Event to Network, Inspire and Empower Each Other

Costa Mesa, California - The Gathering of the Goddesses(TM), the premier women's networking event for hip, savvy women in the pop culture industries, is searching for entries and nominations for the first ever "Athena Award". The award will recognize the achievements and contributions of an innovative forward-thinking entrepreneur in the action sports, fashion, media and other trend-setting industries. The winner will be announced at the Gathering of the Goddesses event held March 31- April 3 in Vail, Colorado.

The "Athena" award winner will receive an all-expense paid event package to this year's Gathering, a laptop computer and a $1000 investment certificate. The award will be presented during the "Toast the Entrepreneurial Spirit" dinner for the goddesses at the slope-side Larkspur Restaurant. The evening's keynote speaker will be Lynne Franks, a world renowned public relations consultant. Franks is also an author and commentator on global networking, sustainability and consumer lifestyles.

The Gathering of the Goddesses event offers participants two days and three nights of information packed workshops, snowboarding, networking, morning yoga and other special events. This year's workshops will focus on business-building ideas, including sponsorship strategies and street smart marketing.
