Inhuman, hailing from Washington DC's thriving musical scene, spun all manner of rich 4-floor rhythms at the Beta Lounge tonight. A visit to San Francisco in '93 cemented his relationship with the liquid grooves of house and the cybernetic textures of techno.

Once established in SF (working a day gig as a freelance web designer), became one of the founders of Staple, a widely appreciated weekly night that has seen the likes of Theo Parrish, Boo Williams, Mark E. Quark, Gemini and Alexi Dolano grace its turntables.

His hybrid status between the worlds of international DJs and the world wide web, has this tech-savvy DJ looking at all of the alternative means that he can deliver music to the masses. Beyond simply making people lose it to the rhythms he weaves, Inhuman is committed to educating people about the music, "without being lofty or sanctimonious."
