Miles of recycled crepe paper flow just above our heads at arms length, with unpredictable direction and force by the hundreds of hands all connected to the hundreds of streams being pulled from behind us. Unrelenting percussive rhythms, lightning fast strobe lighting, the ceiling of white covers and comforts the community of networked audience members together, with open minds, hearts and the anticipation of what I didn't know was about to occur drove me to experience 'the perfect moment'. The kind Spaulding Gray speaks of during his hilarious and profound monologue describing the filming of the Killing Fields in Cambodia. I turn to my girlfriend and deliver the words " will you marry me ? ? I want you to be my wife. " My 'perfect moment' was at the finale of the Blue Man Group.
