Skateboarding
Skateboarding has been a mainstay of the X Games from the start and this year will be no different. 2001 International X Games competitors will compete in park, vert and best trick disciplines. Medalists will be judged on aggressiveness, fluidity, consistency and originality.

Bike Stunt
More than 20 bike riders will compete in two events: park and mini halfpipe. Riders will have two 45-second runs to impress judges in both disciplines. Their runs will be judged on originality, fluidity and consistency.

Aggressive Inline
Inline skating was huge at last year's AXQ and it will be a marquee event this year on the International X Games circuit. Skaters will compete in two separate events in 2001: park and vert. As with other sports, competitors will be judged on the aggressiveness of the line and the consistency of the performance.

Wakeboarding
Wakeboarders from all over the world will be competing in the 2001 International X Games. Competitors will compete through three rounds of compeitions with their runs based on fluidity and overall impression.
