Word	Definition
Saran Wrap	Rider passes one foot between his hands and back to the peg, removing one hand from the bars to let it pass through.
Scramble	Early 1900's term for motocross racing.
Shock	The rear suspension (front suspension is contained within the fork).
Sick	Big, crazy, cool, incredibly difficult.
Silencer	The muffler of the exhaust system, attached to the end of the pipe.
Skid Lid	A helmet.
Sterilizer	Bar hop landed with feet still over the handlebars.
Stoked	Describes riders when they are pumped up and confident.
Suicide no-hander	No-hander lander with hands clasped behind the back.
Super Can	No footed can-can with a seat grab.
Supercross	The highest competitive level of motocross racing in the U.S. Can also refer to any race held in an arena or stadium on man-made obstacles.
Superman	Rider releases both legs from pegs and throws his legs back, elevating himself over the bike.
Top end	The upper portion of the motor, where modifications are performed to increase power. Contains the cylinder, piston, ring, and head.
