Word	Sport	Definition
Waist	SNB	The width measurement taken at the narrowest part of the board which is near the middle of its length.
Wall	MULTI	Any bank that is at or above 90 degrees.
Wallride	MULTI	To ride on a wall that has no transition.
Wax	INL	The substance skaters spread on the curbs and obstacles to make them more slippery.
Wheels	SKT	Attached to the truck - rolling devices which are usually made of urethane. In addition to the standard wheels, there are now those which have a nylon or high-tech plastic on the interior part of the wheel.
Whip	MTX	Classic Motocross move where rider turns and lays the machine flat in mid air.
Wood core	MULTI	Various type of wood used to provide the shape and thickness of a board.
World cup	ETC	An annual series featuring the best freestyle and alpine skiers.
X-Up	BMX	While in the air a rider turns the handlebars as far as they will go in one direction without releasing the grip, then turns them back in the other direction before landing.
