When video shoots go bad.

Lou Rajsich hucks himself over a huge roof gap somewhere in Oregon. Unfortunately, it didn't go as planned. Video footage from Lee Rajsich.

Jamie McParland e-mailed us with some insane news. Portland, Oregon street rider, Lou Rajsich broke both bones in his arm on Saturday, February 24th while doing the gap in the video grab shown above. The break was just above his wrist as you can see in the photo below. Doctors say that Lou will have to stay off of his bike for about six to eight weeks. You'll be able to see video footage of the gap in the upcoming video "Blueprint," which should be available this Spring.

It's only a flesh wound.

We talked to Lou and this is what he had to say about the gap. "I don't know how far, or how tall the gap is. I took two runs, and then I went. I landed flat with my front tire, and broke my wrist right away. Then I tumbled around, scraped up my arm, shoulder, and head a bit. I had to go right into surgery. Now I have two pins in my wrist. I go back [to the doctor on] Wednesday to get the [pins] removed. Then I'll be in a cast for six to eight weeks."
