Sole Technologies Inc, the parent company of Etnies, eS, Emerica and Thirty-Two, has severed all ties with Phase Three mail-order companies (CCS, Dan's Comp and Alloy). I find it to be interesting that, once again, a company has been pissed off by Phase Three and pulled their gear. A couple years ago, Terrible One had serious trouble with Dan's Comp making and selling bootleg T1 T-shirts. I've said it once, I'll say it again ... support your local shop.
BMX racing has been added to the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China. Click here for the full story.

Seattle's Dan Montgomery (Macneil flow, FSA) and Nick Halsey (Macneil, FSA, Axion) are spending a couple of weeks at Woodward's Lake Owen camp in Wisconsin, a smaller version of Woodward (PA) and Woodward West (CA).
Butterfinger is showing the Ride BMX video "Reincarnation" on a ten-city "BMX movie tour 2003". Punk band Crash Music will play some of the dates and various pro riders will be available to sign autographs and help with your summer-school homework.

| Nate Wessel, seen here working on ramps at a Baco contest in Appleton, WI, is no longer riding for Terrible One. |
I've noticed a revival in Rad Racing gear. Suddenly, there are a number of Internet sites selling T-shirts and hoodies. Check out: www.radgear.com and www.radtshirts.com.
Dreadlocked ramp-building king Nate Wessel is no longer riding for Terrible One. No word on what he'll be up to next, but I bet it will involve lots of travel and hard-charging street riding.
Dave Freimuth (Etnies, Snafu, Macneil, UGP, Sun Rims) married his fiancé Patie on last Saturday, June 21 in Appleton, WI. It takes a lot of patience to marry someone as dedicated to their bike as Dave.

| The second edition of the zRide video magazine is out -- "The Royal Z-Baums". |
The second issue of the zRide video magazine is out. It's titled "The royal Z-Baums" and the cover is a recreation of the DVD cover of The Royal Tennanbaums, only with Bruce Crisman, Liz Crisman, Seth Kimbrough and a host of others. Look for it at www.zride.net or ask at your local bikeshop.
Bruce's band Decoro launched their website www.decoromusic.com. Portland ex-pat Rich Hirsch (living in L.A. and tearing up the street down there), designed the website.
