Vans Triple Crown of BMX


The Mountain Dew National Championships of BMX, second leg of the Vans Triple Crown of BMX, wrapped up with Ryan Nyquist and Colin Mackay claiming first in Street and Dirt respectively, following Koji Kraft taking first in Saturday's Vert competition. The Vans Triple Crown of BMX draws the world's best BMX riders competing in three disciplines: Vert, Dirt and Street.

In Saturday's Vert Competition, Kraft claimed first and Jay Miron and Kevin Robinson placed second and third, respectively. Fans can catch all the action as the event is scheduled to broadcast on NBC Sports on August 3 at 3:00 p.m. EDT as part of NBC Sports ongoing coverage of the Vans Triple Crown Series.

In Sunday's dirt competition, Nyquist reclaimed top honors as he soared to first, while Chris Doyle took home second with Mike Aitken placing third. MacKay claimed first in the Street competition, with Tom Haugen taking second and Mike Parenti third.
