The Lord Voelker Injures a Wing

While riding at the skatepark in Mission Valley, California, Dave Voelker (GT) took a nasty spill that left him with a dislocated shoulder. "I was cranking towards a ramp when my chain popped and sent me sliding into a grind rail," said Dave.

Dave went to the hospital later that day and doctors suspected that Dave may have broken a bone. While at the hospital Dave had X-rays taken of his shoulder, but the results were inconclusive. Dave will be returning to the doctor later this week to have a MRI done of his shoulder.

At the moment, Dave doesn't know when he'll be back on his bike, and he's really bummed that he'll be missing the first part of the GT tour. We wish the Lord a speedy recovery.
