Bristol, CT - Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie, Texas, a suburb of Dallas/Forth Worth, will host the X Trials, May 18-20, 2001. Kicking off the X Trials weekend is the GPX Action Sports Charity Jam, the inaugural benefit that offers something for everyone.

AT&T Broadband along with ESPN will be hosting twenty children from the Creative Visions Social Services (CVSS) on Thursday, May 17. This is the children's first time to an action sports event like the X Trials. Creative Visions Social Services (CVSS) is a nonprofit, charitable and educational organization. AT&T Broadband serves more than 565,000 customers in the metropolitan Dallas area and provides free cable to more than 600 metroplex schools and free AT&T@Home Internet service to schools and libraries where the service has been deployed.

The free-to-the-public X Trials -- a two-stop competition featuring more than 250 athletes from around the world competing for medals, prize money and an open invitation to the seventh-annual X Games, the world's premier action sports competition, August 17-23 in Philadelphia, Pa. -- feature competitions in men's and women's park and vert aggressive in-line skating; flatland, park and vert bicycle stunt and park and vert skateboarding.
