ANAHEIM, Calif. -- The Aggressive In-line competition was taken over by fellow Californians who showed the city of Anaheim that the new additions of rails and jumps on the park course didn't intimidate their performances. Brian Shima of Redwood City dominated the field with huge jumps and steady lines.

Closely behind Shima, San Diego's Louie Zamora took the silver by a half-a-point margin above Irvine's own Mike Budnik. Fabiola da Silva kept her crown for the women's competition, putting her ahead of Deborah West of Plano, Texas, and Angela Araujo of Panama.
