Brett Vale, a former member of the Australian National Team, entered his first skiercross--his first race of any kind in three years--at the 2002 Xcite Planet X Games in Perisher Blue, AUS on a whim and won. In fact, he won the qualifying round and every heat on the way to qualifying for WX VII. Though he may be a rookie at skiercross, he's confident that his strong skiing background won't let him down.
