J.J. Thomas reveled in his home state advantage at WX '02. His now-signature monster McTwists made him unbeatable in the SuperPipe, and also contributed to his '02 Olympic bronze medal in pipe. He's a laid back Colorado kid who is taking the highs like WX and Olympic medals, and the lows like his blown ACL, in stride.
