Notable:
Known to rollerbladers of the 90's as "Roadhouse," Randy Spizer was the first of the second generation of rollerbladers. After winning the 1997 ASA World Championships (tied with Marco Hintze), he gradually phased himself out of the competitive circuit while devoting himself to true street. In 2003, he has three endemic skate brands (Deshi, Second Regime and Esoteric) and a fresh new 'boy band' image.
Quote:
Arlo on Randy: "Randy is the first real, modern, contemporary rollerblader. The rest of us started out with some other sport, but Randy, as a thirteen year old, grew up as a rollerblader. People always joke about 'don't call it a comeback', but it's true. Randy has always been here."
