Notable:
Four time ('92, '94,'98, '02) Olympian Casey Puckett doesn't have any skiercross competitions under his belt, but the local Aspen skier already has a good track record for dominating on his home turf--Puckett won the 24 hours of Aspen in Dec. ('02). Puckett's best Olympic finish was a 7th in the slalom at the 1994 Olympics in Lillehammer, NOR. He is only the second U.S. male alpine skier to compete in four Winter Olympics; the other is AJ Kitt who competed in 1988, 1992, 1994, and 1998.
Quote:
"At the 2002 Olympics I went really hard and crashed. I usually went for the gold, and most of the time I ended up on my face."
