At WX '02, Jon Olsson walked away with more hardware than any other park skier. A gold in Superpipe and bronze in Slopestyle set the precedent for the rest of his season. A week later at the U.S. Open in Vail, CO he bagged another two medals. He then went on to win the Red Bull Huckfest and the Red Bull Big Air. By the end of the season, Freeskier magazine proclaimed 2002 the year of "Jon Olsson."
