Notable:
Going into the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah, Jonny Moseley knew one thing--if he threw his signature trick the, Dinner Roll (an off axis 720), he wasn't going to win. Moseley, who opted not to play to the judges, threw the trick anyway and finished 4th. FIS recently changed a scoring rule that would make the Dinner Roll one of the highest scoring tricks in freestyle moguls. Had that rule been in effect in Salt Lake, Moseley would have likely walked with a medal.

"When the [W]X Games was sprouting, and I saw it coming on, I was like damn-it that is where I want to be, but I was still headlong into a whole Olympic career, so I couldn't focus on the events in the [W]X Games like halfpipe and slopestyle, but I've always wanted to just do [W]X Games."
