Notable:
After driving 19 hours from Whistler, BC, CAN to Northstar-at-Tahoe, CA for the Paul Mitchell X-Qualifier, a last chance qualifier for WX VII, Ashleigh McIvor wasn't going to let a dislocated right shoulder keep her off the course. McIvor, who dislocated her shoulder during a practice run, merely popped the shoulder back into place and went on to win the comp earning her first trip to WX.
Quote:
McIvor's mother, Marilyn McIvor, says, "If Ashleigh had her choice she would not go back to the university, she wants to be a professional skiercross racer."
