He won the 2001 WX Big Air, got the silver at 2002, but still had to rely on the grace of a wild card to return for a third year. Injuries from summer 2002 are now behind him, and he is on a routine of stretching and running that has him back in shape after years of being "the old man" (36) of the sport.
