Sunny garcia won his unprecedented fifth Hawaiian Triple Crown in 2000, taking the record from Derek Ho. Sunny also took home the 2000 ASP World Champion title after fifteen years on competitive tour. Growing up on the Waianae Coast of Oahu, Sunny learned how to be an aggressive and well rounded surfer. Today he is the spokesman for the Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP).
