Laurent Favre looks to be the next French speaking freeskiing prodigy. He won the halfpipe at the Rip Curl Freeride in Saas Fee, SUI in Dec. ('02), and finished 3rd in slopestyle with a switch 900 reverse mute. One week later he won the slopestyle at the Winter X qualifier in Val Thorens, FRA, earning his first trip to WX.
