Notable:
Joe Eddy is a junior in high school and among the legions that have transplanted themselves to Mammoth, CA for the ample terrain, well-maintained parks, and all around good times. Eddy has an explosive, low-riding style and some huge tricks that helped him earn the overall AST (American Snowboard Tour) title and his first shot at WX.

"I just rode around Steamboat (CO) with my friends and did a few local contests my first year riding," says Eddy. "I beat all these kids who were in my age group and they were going off to Nationals and stuff. I was like 'Oh man, I can get to Nationals if I can beat these kids." So I did the USASA qualifiers and made it to Nationals [my second year on a board]."
