Notable:
A recent member of the U.S. Development Team, Del Bosco was at the height of his ski racing career when he turned to skiercross in 2001. By 2002, he was standing on the podium at one of the most prestigious skiercross races in the world--he finished 3rd at the U.S. Open in Vail, CO. To keep up with the big guys, Del Bosco hired a personal trainer during the fall ('02) to increase his strength and body mass. He has put on ten pounds of muscle since starting the program in Oct ('02).
Quote:
"I have the natural ability and talent, but I've never worked on my strength. I used to just rely on my natural abilities. I've realized, though, that I need strength to beat these guys."
